I've always wanted to photograph the Doran Bridge on a fogging morning. It reminds me of the great European Cathedrals. It spans San Mateo Creek at a height of 250 feet and holds eight lanes of I-280. I like the way the repeating forms nearly vanish in the background and the spiritual nature of the place. When crossing the bridge no one is able to see the structure below. However, one is treated to a view of what has become a world attraction - the Flintstone House.
